Revenue operations as an external function

Fractional RevOps: revenue operations for your team without filling a full-time role.

Fractional RevOps, as we run it: we take over definitions, data, routing and reporting for your revenue team while a full-time hire does not pay off yet. You start with a fixed-price project that moves you up one stage.

  • Fixed price before we start
  • Next stage in 4–12 weeks
  • Data stays in your CRM

Self-check

Which stage is your revenue team at?

Each stage has one next step. Skipping ahead does not work.

Stage 1

Reactive

Spreadsheets, manual reports, every team counts leads differently. Forecasts get negotiated.

Next step

Write the definitions down and get every team to sign them off.

Stage 2

Standardised

One CRM, shared definitions, the same stages. Numbers agree.

Next step

Enforce it in the system: required fields, validation, routing as a rule.

Stage 3

Automated

Routing, enrichment, scoring and data hygiene run on their own.

Next step

Warehouse and historical snapshots for trend and cohort analysis.

Stage 4

Predictive

Forecasts from historical patterns, churn risk visible early.

Next step

Maintain the models. This stage decays fastest.

A forecast built on inconsistent definitions sounds confident and is still wrong. So we almost always start at stage 1 or 2.

Ownership

What the external RevOps function owns

Definitions
What counts as a qualified lead, opportunity, active customer and churn. Written, versioned, enforced in the CRM.
Data
Data model, required fields, picklists, timestamps for every stage change.
Routing
Which lead goes to whom, how fast, and what happens if nobody responds.
Reporting
One definition per metric, one dashboard. Marketing and sales get the same number.

What we need from you

  1. 01Authority over definitions: a leader who signs off stages and criteria.
  2. 02Admin access to the CRM. Without it, every rule is a suggestion.
  3. 03A contact in the revenue team for process questions.

Without authority, RevOps becomes advice and definitions drift apart again.

How it runs

First a project to the next stage, then ongoing support if you want it

Analysis and assessment

We review your CRM, definitions and reports and tell you your stage.

Fixed price

Project to the next stage

A defined scope, live in 4 to 12 weeks. Reactive to standardised means, say: a definitions document, a clean data model, required fields, one shared dashboard.

Fixed price within our bands of €5,000 to €60,000

Optional

Ongoing support

If you want someone to maintain definitions, routing and reports, we send a separate proposal once the scope is clear.

Separate proposal, no obligation

Questions about fractional RevOps

At what team size does fractional RevOps make sense?

Usually from around ten people across marketing, sales and customer success, when the numbers start to disagree. Up to about fifty, a full-time role is hard to justify or fill.

What does fractional RevOps cost per month?

You start with a fixed-price project and know the price upfront. Support afterwards is quoted separately. A senior in-house hire costs €130,000 to €180,000 a year fully loaded, plus 3 to 6 months of recruiting.

Who does the work?

Your contact is Ferhat Ziba, founder of Melexsoft. Our Istanbul team builds inside your existing CRM. You own code, data and documentation.

Can we bring RevOps in-house later?

Yes, often that is the best order. We document definitions, data model and rules so a new hire can use them on day one.
